ShareFilters' Polyester filter mesh features precise mesh openings, tightly controlled fabric properties, and provide protection against dust and liquids without compromising sound quality. Hydrophobic feature is the nature of polyester, and the water-resistant properties increase as the thread count rises. However, the material is fully waterproof unless it's coated with special materials.
Usually, the polyester mesh is under through the dyeing treatment and hydrophobic treatment coating. After hydrophobic treatment, the waterproof level of mesh can get 5 grades, which means when water flow on the surface of polyester mesh, the water will not get off from polyester mesh and at the same time the water will not be hold on the mesh surface. This hydrophobic mesh is widely used in the speaker or other acoustic devices.
Application of Hydrophobic Coating Polyester Mesh:
Mobile phones,speakers and other portable radio equipments are often worked in terrible conditions, and some touch sensitive components can be damaged by the moisture and dust. It can make them suffer from dust and water by applying the water repellent polyester mesh on these equipments.
