The blood transfusion tubular filter is an essential component in the blood transfusion set, playing a pivotal role in enhancing the safety and efficacy of the transfusion process. Comprising a filter mesh endowed with pore sizes ranging from 40 to 260 microns in diameter, the blood tranfusion filter serves as a meticulous gatekeeper during the journey of blood from donor to recipient.
Share Filters' blood filter consists of a polyester or nylon filter mesh held in polymer by insert injection moulding, allowing for a more robust part giving more reliability and longevity in its usage. Micron rating available in 40μm, 150μm, 170μm, 200μm, 260μm, and other specified microns. This injection moulding processing can take in many forms.

This just a part of specifications which common used.
Mesh count (n/cm), (n/in)
The mesh count stands for the number of openings per inch.
Mesh opening (μm)
The mesh opening w is the distance between two adjacent warp or weft thread.
Thread diameter (μm)
The thread diameter is measured on the thread before weaving.
Open area (%)
The percentage of the open are is the sum of all mesh openings as percentage of the total fabric area
