Fuel water separator filter removes water from fuel before it reaches the engine, protecting the fuel system and engine components. 

• In diesel systems, they use centrifugal force to separate denser water from fuel
  .
• In gasoline systems, they allow water to drop out and collect at the bottom due to its higher density.
