Product Description

Product Description

Polyethylene is suitable for mass-produced products because of it's low cost.
As this material is strong, chemical-resistant, and hygienic, it can be used for applications related to the environment and foods that directly contact the human body.

As polyethylene is the second lightest fiber, next to polypropylene, it has low heat resistance and no water and moisture absorption properties.
However, it is also characterized as being resistant to low-temperature environments and does not deform at temperatures down to -20
ºC.

Know-How

What is Plain Weave(PW) and Twill Weave(TW) for Filter Mesh

Precision Mirco Rated Polyethylene Filter Mesh for Polyethylene Molded Plastic Filter Component
Plain weave is made by crossing the warp and weft yarns with each other, which is the simplest weave among textile structures. Well-regulated and highly durable textile fabrics can be created as there are many points where the threads cross each other (structure points). It is also resistant to friction.
Since the warp and weft yarns appear on the front and rear surfaces of the textile uniformly, it is sometimes difficult to make a distinction between the front side and the rear side compared to other structures.

Twill weave is a structure created by intersecting warp and weft yarns. Each yarn is woven by at least skipping two or more of the opposing yarn either over or under. Slanting ribs like "/" can be seen as a diagonal pattern on the fabric surface. This slanting line is called the "twill line."
Twill weave yard has a slightly lower durability, but is more flexible and has a glossy texture compared to plain weave as the warp of a twill weave yarn will cover a larger surface area. (warp yarns are floated in a wider area).
As there are fewer interlacing threads, high-density textile fabrics with fewer spaces can be created.
A weave in which the weft yarns are crossed by two upper and two lower warp yarns is called "2/2 twill weave", and weaves in which weft yarns are crossed by two upper and one lower and three upper and one lower warp yarns are called "2/1 twill weave" and "3/1 twill weave," respectively. A wide variety of structures that cannot be realized with a plain weave can be created.

Custom Filter Element

SHARE can manufacture from simple die-cut filter pads to complex laser-cut and ultrasonically welded plastic parts on a molded plastic bracket.
Our high-precision fabrics are used to produce everything from simple parts such as tapes, discs, flat shapes or more complex applications such as filter screens, filter bag, filter cartridges, pleated cartridges, tubular filter elements, filter candles, and more. SHARE develops and manufactures filter elements on request according to your specifications.

Here are a few examples of our custom-made products designed, developed and manufactured by SHARE with processing technologies.  It
enables customers to find the suitable products for their application:

Tube Processing
Meshes are welded into tubes by the methods called ultrasonic welding and thermal welding.

We have two tube welding types:
Lap Welding (Jointed Surface)

High welding strength. The productivity is low and small-sized parts cannot be welded.

and

Corner or Edge Welding (Jointed Edge)

Welding strength is low, but productivity is high and even small-sized parts can be welded.

6. What's your largest advantage?
SHARE specialize in high-precision injection molded plastic screen filters with professional technical team and quality guarantee and management for more than 30 years.

7. Can plastic molded filter specifications be customized?
Absolutely, at SHARE, the materials, dimensions, shape, construction method, mesh size, and applications of the filters are all fully customizable to meet your specific requirements.

8. Do you need drawings for production?
If you have drawing (2D, 3D both available. 2D like PDF, CAD, JPG etc. 3D like STP, IGS, STL, SAT, PRT, IPT etc.) it'll be helpful for us to proceed with the production.
However, if you don't have any drawing, don't worry. SHARE can work with you to create a drawing based on a description or image of the filters you have in mind. We can get started without any drawings initially.
