The cell strainer cap for a FACS tube (fluorescence-activated cell sorting tube) is a important part that filter out unwanted debris, clumps, cells from the cell suspension before running it through a flow cytometer or FACS machine. These caps typically have a built-in filter mesh that acts as a strainer, allowing the passage of single cells whilekeeping larger particles. They are designed to fit securely onto the top of a FACS tube and provide a convenient way to filter the sample directly into the tube.
Share Filters' cell strainers are manufactured from precise nylon filter mesh with evenly spaced mesh pores and popypropylene(PP) surport cage. Available in 5μm, 10μm, 20μm, 30μm, 40μm, 70μm, 100μm, 200µm and color-coded mesh variants. The caps with strainers for 12x75mm (5ml) tubes offer vented positions.

This just a part of specifications which common used.
Mesh count (n/cm), (n/in)
The mesh count stands for the number of openings per inch.
Mesh opening (μm)
The mesh opening w is the distance between two adjacent warp or weft thread.
Thread diameter (μm)
The thread diameter is measured on the thread before weaving.
Open area (%)
The percentage of the open are is the sum of all mesh openings as percentage of the total fabric area
